Nicholas and his 2 brothers are the last 3 surviving Satyr men, and they need heirs. Not only do they need heirs to continue on with their race, but the Satyr men have a lucrative and magical wine business that they need to continue on with as well. Then, Nicholas receives a letter from King Feydon, who is the ruler of ElseWorld. The letter tells the 3 brothers that he fathered 3 half-Fey, half-Human daughters, and it is up to Nicholas and his brothers to protect and marry them. Nicholas is sent out first to Tivoli, and there he meets Jane…

Jane is one of King Feydon’s Fey-Human daughters. She knows she’s different, and has begun to use her power’s in order to gain monetary funds as a “mystic.” But, one night, as she is giving her predictions, Nicholas walks in to have his future told. Jane’s world as she knows it is about to change, drastically…

Nicholas needs a woman who can fully satisfy his sexual desires, and Jane needs a man, for her, and her alone…

What a great read! Nicholas and Jane are absolutely perfect characters crafted to be realistic and relatable, yet magical enough to tantalize the mind. The storyline is full-filling and complete, but you will definitely find yourself wanting more from Elizabeth Amber and her Satyr men. You will also find the sex to be red hot and lovely, at the same time. Elizabeth Amber has written Nicholas to be an utterly fantastic read, and the stories coming up for the other 2 brothers are bound to be even better!

Official Blurb:

The last in a fabled line of otherworldly aristocracy, the Lords of Satyr are born to wealth, power, and a talent for sensual delight that mere mortals only dream of. Commanded to marry, these passionate men will travel to Rome, Venice, and Paris—and along the way will explore desires both shamelessly wicked and blissfully divine…

HE HAD SWORN TO TAKE A PROPER WIFE. HE HADN’T BARGAINED FOR MEETING HIS MATCH…

Nicholas looks very much like what he is—a handsome, successful heir to a vineyard in Tuscany. But Nicholas is much more for he is one of the last in an ancient line of Satyr men. And the dying king of ElseWorld wants him not only to marry, but to wed one of the king’s own daughters—a half-human, half-faerie woman unaware of her heritage. Nicholas won’t shirk his duty to produce heirs to guard his race’s legacies, but he never planned to make his bride his only lover. A Satyr’s sexual hunger and sexual skills are legendary. One woman will never satisfy him.

Or so Nick believes until he meets Jane. As spirited as she is fey, as beautiful as she is innocent, she is nevertheless determined to make her new husband hers alone—and she’s eager for him to teach her every deliciously carnal secret he knows.

WARNING: This is a REALLY HOT book.

POSSIBLE SPOILER:

(you've been warned :-)...)

Before reading Nicholas, I read the blurb on the back, as I always do. I wanted to have SOME idea as to what I would be reading about. :-) Anyways, I saw that Nicholas was a satyr, and I thought, "What the heck is that?" So, here's a definition (or 2) for all of you curious readers out there! :-)

Wikipedia defintion:
In Greek mythology, satyrs (in Greek, Σάτυροι — Sátyroi) are a troop of male companions of Pan and Dionysus— "satyresses" were a late invention of poets— that roamed the woods and mountains. In mythology they are often associated with male sex drive and vase-painters often portrayed them with uncontrollable erections.

Dictionary.com defintion:
1. Classical Mythology. one of a class of woodland deities, attendant on Bacchus, represented as part human, part horse, and sometimes part goat and noted for riotousness and lasciviousness.
2. a lascivious man; lecher.
3. a man who has satyriasis.

Denise's Defintion: (that's me!)
One yummy man, who can obtain multiple erections through the change. (I didn't find Wikipedia or Dictionary.com to really give a defintion, of what Elizabeth Amber really got across. lol)

Again, Happy Reading!!!

Technology really has become one with our daily lives, and I am fairly certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.
