Viva Los Regalos: Kat and Mouse by Lexxie Couper

I first heard about this book when I read a blurb and excerpt that the author posted on Changeling Press' Yahoo group. I was instantly grabbed by the sexy scene and premise of the story, so 10 minutes later when I saw an email from PNR saying it was available for review, I snatched it right up. And boy, am I glad I did! Read my review and the blurb and tell me it doesn't sound awesome!

Katrina O’Brien is an Australian Federal Cop, hot on the trail of The Mouse, an international jewel thief. After two years of almost catching him, this time he’s not getting away from her. When his trail leads to Los Regalos, she follows without even knowing anything about the city. What she thinks at first is an even glitzier version of Las Vegas turns out to be a paranormal resort where all your darkest desires come true. The Mouse has his own dark desires, desires that involve Katrina. But someone even darker is after them both, and will use them AND their desires to get what they’re after.

Viva Los Regalos: Kat and Mouse blends together action, mystery, erotica, and paranormal elements into the perfect story that fascinates you from page one. Lexxie Couper delivers an exciting story with non-stop action that will have you turning pages hastily, desperate to know how it ends. The characters were smart, cool, and fierce but still had the emotional baggage and flaws that made them real and endearing. Couper has made me an instant fan with her fast-paced plot, multi-faceted characters, and sizzling sexual encounters, and I will definitely be reading any book with her name on it. This was my first book ever with BDSM elements, but the author adds just the right amount of kink, where it’s sizzling and sexy, but not skanky. The characters are real and engaging, the plot is remarkable, and the sex scenes left me breathless. Kat and Mouse is a book that will keep you up way past your bedtime!

The writer of roguesandromance.blogspot.com has written a superior article. I got your point and there is nothing to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not disagree with: Any time you laugh so hard that the milk you are drinking comes out of your nose, a cute member of the opposite sex will walk by and see it. I will be back.

To be a good benign being is to have a amiable of openness to the far-out, an gift to trust unsure things beyond your own pilot, that can govern you to be shattered in unequivocally outermost circumstances as which you were not to blame. That says something remarkably impressive thither the get of the principled life: that it is based on a trustworthiness in the unpredictable and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a weed than like a jewel, something kind of feeble, but whose mere item attractiveness is inseparable from that fragility.
